We moved to South Carolina in the fall of 1997. Charleston is a wonderful and historic place to live. We enjoy visiting the sights and one of our favorite things to do is to take a day and play tourist. The picture above was taken by a dear friend from Belinsky Photography in front of one of many art museums.
Samuel
With school, his music ministry, soccer and his jobs Sam stays very busy. Sam plays the drums and guitar and has written and recorded some of his music.
Currently serving at Northwoods Church as a drummer, Samuel has also been playing for other churches and ministries in the area. He has made several trips to California to play for South Bay Church in San Jose and hopes to move out there to assist with the work of planting this new church and attend school there sometime in the next year.
This year Dad and Sam started riding together. It's their "guy time". They have logged about 5,000 miles last Summer and fall.

Archie and RebekahArchie and Rebekah moved in September of '08 as part of a team planting a new church in the San Francisco Bay, Silicon Valley, area of California. Yes, you read that right, clear across the country on the opposite coast.
They live in San Jose where Archie is the Worship Pastor of South Bay Church. http://www.southbaychurch.org/
The church launched in February of '09 and are about to just celebrated their one year anniversary. There’s no room here to share all the miracles we've seen God do as they followed His leading, but let me say it is an awesome story of God's provision and blessing.

God has provided for them in so many ways. From selling their house at just the right time, just days before they needed to go to providing a truck for them to store equipment in. It's a story of just how God works when people are committed to serving him.

Rebekah has a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and is working with babies and autistic children. Needless to say, we are very proud of all of them. (Can you tell? LOL) Please add them to your prayers as they do this important work.

Mom and Dad:This spring Mom and Dad will celebrate their 33 wedding anniversary! Their first date was Andy's Senior Prom in high School and he likes to say that she is still his prom date.
Mom, (Jenny) has changed careers and works as a caregiver helping people who need at home assistance. She works with Alzheimer patients and their families as well as others who need help. She really enjoys being able to help her clients and their families through difficult times.
Dad, (Andy...OK, Duke to many relatives) is wearing many hats these days. (No pun intended because of his hair style. LOL.) He works at the hospital as a chaplain, and is a computer programmer/ analyst for a large industrial supply company. His main occupation is working with a ministry called Redemption Network.
Redemption Network recruits, trains and assists people starting new churches, (church planters) and their families. He helps leaders in new and existing churches become more effective and helps churches connect together to impact their communities for Christ. He is a kind of "Pastor to pastors". He also writes, plays music, and has a mentoring and life coaching practice to help Christians learn to live their lives on purpose for God and grow deeper in their relationships.
